Family yoga is a wonderful opportunity for parents, children and siblings to play and bond, naturally and mindfully through breath and movement.

In a family yoga class, families will discover the benefits and joy of practising yoga together. Focus will be on the children, with the encouragement of parents, guiding their children to learn and grow via yoga poses, breathing exercises, mindful games, partner poses, yoga adventures, and relaxation.

When parents join in, they lead by example and model learning to their children. They will also be given the opportunity to embrace their inner child. So expect to laugh, smile, move, breathe, relax and make shapes with your children in a non-competitive, healthy and fun environment. Yoga is always better together, so come and join My Yoga Playground!

FAMILY YOGA TESTIMONIAL

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

“Thank you, Catherine, for a fantastic family yoga sesh today! My 6yr old niece and I had so much fun. She was playing the lava game with her 2yr old little sister when she got home which was so nice to see and she was showing her mum the poses she learnt and breathing wands she made.

I gifted my niece the Rainbow Chakra Kids Yoga and Mindfulness Card Deck for her birthday last year which brings her much joy and vibrancy. She’s learnt about chakras over the last few years and we noticed in the family yoga session, she had started placing the coloured beads on her breathing wand in order of the chakra rainbow colours which was beautiful to see.

Catherine is an enthusiastic, dynamic, and engaging instructor that flowed through a holistic sensory experience aligning our mind, body and soul. It was such an impressive experience that really brings one back to source. My inner child had so much fun as well as my niece. My Yoga Playground is a highly recommended experience for all children and inner children. Thank you for creating a much-needed conscious yoga playground! Have been spreading the word."
