Give your child the gift of YOGA!

A joyful and engaging introduction to yoga and mindfulness for children 4-9 yrs. These classes will help your child build a healthy and resilient body, an open and compassionate heart and a calm, happy mind. They will learn, play and grow in a non-competitive, healthy and fun environment via yoga poses, breathing exercises, mindful games, imaginative yoga adventures, and relaxation.

It’s all about moving busy bodies, learning ways to move and breathe through big feelings, slow down busy minds, feel safe and confident in their bodies.
If your child needs time and a safe space to wiggle and unwind after school and feel good, these classes are a beautiful way to start the week grounded and connected.

A session will include a variety of the below:

  • age-appropriate yoga poses, individually, and in partners or groups

  • simple and portable breathing techniques to learn how to self regulate and develop emotional intelligence

  • sharing circles to allow self-expression and enhance self-confidence

  • engaging and mindful games to foster cooperation, connection, patience and compassion

  • yoga adventures or co-creation of yoga sequences to nurture their creativity and imagination

  • affirmations to build a positive inner dialogue

  • mindful meditation, guided visualisation to nurture their growing minds and relaxation techniques to improve sleep, emotional regulation and foster inner peace

No class is ever the same, and that is the beauty of interactions with children. Classes are themed and designed to be playful and engaging in order to energise, empower, relax and nurture their holistic development.

This is a 45 min class just for children. Parents to drop off, enjoy a mini break and come back to pick up :)

No yoga experience required.

What does my child need to bring?

  • A water bottle

  • The studio has yoga mats but children are welcome to bring their own if they have one

  • Wear comfy clothes you can move around in

  • Street parking on Basset St or side streets
